Mako Communications, LLC is a family owned and operated company that has been acquiring, building, and maintaining Class A and low power television stations all across the United States since 2000.
Flexible LMA Agreements. A Local Marketing Agreement (LMA), also sometimes referred to as a Time Brokerage Agreement, is a contractual agreement whereby a station licensee makes programming time available on its station for a monthly fee. Revenue from advertising sales are typically kept by the programmer. The Licensee retains control over the station.
Nationwide Digital Coverage. With over 45 stations broadcasting in 31 markets, and stations in 13 of the top 20 markets, Mako provides one-stop shopping for virtually nationwide coverage.
If you are a network affiliate or have a network of your own and need an outlet for your programming, please contact us. Most of our stations are digital and offer multiple programming streams (sub-channels). All of our stations provide free over-the-air high quality broadcast signals.
Turnkey Services. Mako’s LMA’s provide programmers with a turnkey service. One monthly fee covers all operating expenses, including utilities, tower rent, downlink, insurance, repair, maintenance, and an engineer on-call 24/7. All you need to do is deliver a quality signal to our transmitter site. This can be done in a variety of ways, including via satellite, fiber, T-1, or DSL.
